Discounted Visits for Rabbit Awareness Week

Rabbit Awareness Week this years runs from 1st to 9th June. The theme for 2019 is ‘Protect and Prevent’ raising awareness of Rabbit Viral Haemorrhagic Disease 2, an often fatal disease which is easily prevented by vaccination. As part of Rabbit Awareness Week, we are offering offering reduced price health checks and vaccinations with free goody bag from 3rd-8th June. Having a home visit for your rabbits’ check reduces their stress levels and enables them to get back to their normal routine quickly. Stress can cause serious health problems in rabbits, including gut stasis. Call today on 07410411461 or book online at https://www.supersaas.co.uk/schedule/Pawsitive_Vet_Care/Home_Visit_Appointments to arrange your home visit. Visit fee… Read More

Special Offer For Arthritic Pets

Arthritis affects 80% of dogs over the age of 8 years old and 20% of dogs of any age. There are probably a similar number of cats affected but less research has been done into these. Rabbits need vaccinating too!

Rabbits are popular pets but can be complex little creatures to care for.  They need protecting against two deadly diseases – myxomatosis and rabbit haemorrhagic disease (RHD). Rabbits can get very stressed when being transported to the veterinary clinic, so a home visit is an ideal way for them to be checked and protected.  Oreo and Quentin pictured here got back to their normal activities very quickly after their injections. Kallisti is very brave

Kallisti the kitten had her first veterinary health check earlier this week which included her vaccinations against cat flu, enteritis and leukaemia.  She was also microchipped, and was given treatment to prevent fleas and worms. She was a bit nervous but soon came out of her shell when I presented her with her new toy from her kitten pack and offered her some tasty treats. She was very brave and enjoyed a cuddle afterwards.  I am looking forward to seeing her again in a few weeks when she has her second vaccination. It is really important for kittens to be vaccinated to protect them against some potentially fatal diseases.  Microchipping… Read More
