Dr Helen Perryman-Smith MRCVS
Director and Veterinary Surgeon
Helen graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2009 and has spent her whole career working in small animal practice. She set up Pawsitive Vet Care in 2018 from a desire to spend more time with clients and their pets, helping to reduce their stress.
Helen is married to Adam and has a young son. She also has a dog, Hope and a Ragdoll cat, Eowyn.
Simone Simkin
Practice Manager
Simone brings over 20 years of experience in the veterinary industry, starting as a trainee nurse and working her way through every role. Her passion and dedication shine through in everything she does, from welcoming new puppies and kittens to providing compassionate care at every stage of a pet’s life.
Simone is a proud mum of three boys and dog mum to Mya the Boxer and Lipsy the Boston Terrier. She is also known for her love of coffee and her warm, friendly nature.
Chelsea Tansley RVN
Registered Veterinary Nurse
Chelsea has worked at a variety of first opinion and referral practices in the West Midlands. She joined Pawsitive Vet Care when we opened and is responsible for all aspects of nursing care, from anaesthetic monitoring to nurse consultations.
In her free time, Chelsea enjoys crafts and spending time with her cat and dog.
Julie Stanton
Animal and Customer Care Assistant
Julie has previously worked in healthcare as a cardiology physiologist, and has also taught animal care at Kidderminster College. She is great at welcoming pets and their people and loves helping everyone feel comfortable.
In her spare time, Julie enjoys spending time with her favourite goat at Wolverley Animal Centre, and looking after her menagerie at home.
