Pawsitive Membership – Terms & Conditions

1. Membership Overview

1.1 Pawsitive Vet Care offers membership plans designed to provide ongoing, preventative care for pets. Details of each plan’s benefits are provided separately.
1.2 By signing up for a membership plan, you agree to these terms and conditions.

2. Payment Terms

2.1 Payments are taken monthly via GoCardless using a Direct Debit mandate. By joining a plan, you authorise Pawsitive Vet Care to collect monthly payments from your nominated account.
2.2 Membership payments are due in advance of the service month.
2.3 Failure of a Direct Debit collection will trigger further collection attempts. If these attempts are unsuccessful, an administration fee of £10 will be applied. If payment is not reinstated within 14 days, the membership plan will be cancelled and the cancellation fee will apply.

3. Term and Renewal

3.1 Each membership plan runs for an initial 12-month term.
3.2 Memberships automatically renew for subsequent 12-month periods unless cancelled in accordance with clause 4.
3.3 Any changes to membership costs will be communicated at least 30 days before the new rate applies.

4. Cancellation and Refunds

4.1 Memberships may be cancelled at the end of the 12-month term without penalty.
4.2 Early cancellation incurs a fee of £25.
4.3 If the value of benefits received by the member exceeds the total subscription payments made, the excess value will be payable on cancellation.
4.4 No refunds are available for benefits not used or not received during the membership period.

5. Use of Benefits

5.1 Membership benefits are non-transferable and may only be used for the member’s registered pets.
5.2 Benefits are subject to availability and Pawsitive Vet Care reserves the right to substitute equivalent services if necessary.

6. Member Obligations

6.1 Members must keep contact and payment details up to date.
6.2 Members must ensure their pets receive care in accordance with professional veterinary guidance.

7. Suspension and Termination

7.1 Membership may be suspended if payments are not received in accordance with clause 2.
7.2 Pawsitive Vet Care may terminate membership with immediate effect if a member breaches these terms and conditions, acts inappropriately, or causes harm or risk to staff, other clients, or animals.

8. Changes to Membership and Communication

8.1 Pawsitive Vet Care may amend membership benefits or terms. Members will be notified at least 30 days in advance of any changes.
8.2 Communications may be sent via email, text, or other channels provided by the member.

9. Liability and General Legal Protections

9.1 Pawsitive Vet Care provides veterinary services in accordance with professional standards. Membership does not guarantee a specific outcome for any pet.
9.2 To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pawsitive Vet Care is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from membership.
9.3 Members remain responsible for the care of their pets and for seeking urgent veterinary attention if needed.

10. Data Protection

10.1 Personal and payment information will be stored securely and processed in accordance with Pawsitive Vet Care’s Privacy Policy.

11. Entire Agreement

11.1 These terms and conditions, along with any membership plan benefits documents, constitute the entire agreement between the member and Pawsitive Vet Care Limited, Unit 142 Hartlebury Trading Estate, Hartlebury, Kidderminster DY10 4JB.

12. Governing Law

12.1 These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
