Time to work at your pet's pace

Understanding, supportive team

Does your pet get anxious at the vet? You’re not alone.

Some pets find vet visits overwhelming — unfamiliar smells, other animals, new people, and handling can all trigger fear. If your pet shakes, hides, growls, won’t be examined, or becomes stressed on the way to the practice, we can help.

At Pawsitive Vet Care, our approach is designed to make veterinary visits calmer and more positive — for pets and owners.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will you sedate my pet?

Not automatically. We start with gentle handling and a calm plan. If medication is helpful, we’ll discuss the safest options together.

My pet is aggressive at the vet — can you still help?

Yes. Most pets are fearful rather than “naughty”. We’ll work at your pet’s pace and prioritise safety and comfort.

Can I bring my pet’s favourite treats or blanket?

Yes — familiar items can help your pet feel safer.

How do I book?

You can book online or call us and we’ll help choose the right appointment type.
